The Indian Army has announced that the recruitment rally for candidates of Meghalaya who were shortlisted after the Common Entrance Examination held in April this year, will be conducted at Manekshaw Stadium, 58 GTC, Happy Valley in Shillong on 5th and 6th November, 2023.
The PRO, Ministry of Defence also cautioned the candidates not to get lured by false promises and fall prey to fraudulent assurances as the selection process is purely merit-based, and those encountering touts claiming to offer help in the recruitment have been requested to inform the nearest army unit or Headquarters Shillong Police Station or Army Recruiting Office Shillong.
The PRO, Ministry of Defence also advised the shortlisted candidates who have not received their admit card to approach the Army Recruiting Office, Shillong via email:- rohqshillong@gmail.com or through phone no. 0364-2504177 to obtain the same or for any queries regarding their participation in the recruitment drive. Candidates will be allowed to participate in the Rally if they produce an Admit Card.
