The Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills has informed that under the SMART Public Distribution System (SMART-PDS), a range of citizen-centric services relating to Ration Cards and allied matters are now available online. Citizens are encouraged to submit their applications exclusively through the designated online portal: https://ml.smartpds.nic.in/login/citizen. Beneficiaries can login using their Aadhaar with OTP or their Ration Card Number with OTP.
The services currently available on the Smart PDS portal include Application for Fresh Ration Card (New Ration Card), addition of members to an existing Ration Card, deletion of members from an existing ration card, modification of ration card details, transfer of ration card or transfer of member and surrender of ration card.
