The 84th State Executive Committee Meeting of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides convened today at the P.J. Bazeley Auditorium Hall, under the Chairmanship of Shri. Vijay Kumar Mantri, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, Education Department. During this significant gathering, he was formally presented with the Warrant of Appointment as the State Chief Commissioner of the State Association by former State Secretary and Vice President —Shri. W. Lyngdoh. Additionally, the newly appointed State Commissioner (Guides), Mrs. Cathleen Pyngrope, and State Commissioner (Adult Resources), Mrs. Wiless Gayang, received their respective Warrants of Appointment respectively for assuming their roles in the State Association.

The committee deliberated on various important agendas focusing on resolutions and strategies designed to bolster the Movement’s outreach and effectiveness in benefiting the youth across the state. The Chairperson in his address emphasized and urged all the officials to incorporate and add more engaging, innovative activities that not only attract but also inspire the younger generations to join this esteemed Movement.

The meeting concluded on a unifying note, with attendees collectively singing the National Anthem, reinforcing their shared commitment to the objectives of the organization.
