The District Election Administration, East Jaintia Hills, has successfully completed the House-to-House Enumeration under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), 2026, marking a significant milestone in the electoral roll revision process.

As on 29th July, 2026, 100% Enumeration Form distribution has been achieved, with all 1,04,417 registered electors covered across the district. So far, 96,789 Enumeration Forms (92.69%) have been digitized and 96,789 forms (92.69%) verified by Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

The 7,628 Uncollectable Enumeration Forms (UEFs) comprise cases of deceased electors, permanently shifted electors, already enrolled elsewhere, untraceable/absent electors and other categories as prescribed by the Election Commission of India. These cases will be processed in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.

The District Election Officer conveys sincere appreciation to all Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Supervisors, election officials, Village Authorities, Dorbar Shnongs, community leaders and the people of East Jaintia Hills for their wholehearted cooperation in making the House-to-House Enumeration a success.

With the completion of the field enumeration, the District Election Administration will now focus on verification, disposal of anomalies, processing of UEFs and preparation of the Draft Electoral Roll as per the schedule of the Election Commission of India.
