The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Garo Hills unit, is proud to announce the Pa Togan Best Student Award 2024 ceremony to be held on 9th September 2024 at the District Auditorium, Tura, West Garo Hills. This prestigious event aims to recognize and honour the academic and overall excellence of students from the Garo Hills region.
The ceremony will be graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including:
- *Shri Biswajit Daimary, Honorable Speaker, Government of Assam, as the *Chief Guest.
- *Shri Bernad N. Marak, MDC, GHADC, as the *Guest of Honour.
- *Smti. Lekhi A. Sangma, Former President, ABVP Meghalaya, as the *Special Guest.
During the event, 63 toppers from 47 schools in Tura will be felicitated for their outstanding achievements. The ceremony is expected to have a significant turnout, with over 700 attendees, including the families of the awardees, principals, teachers, and other guests.
This award aims to encourage and inspire students to strive for excellence in education and leadership. ABVP, known for its commitment to empowering youth, believes this initiative will further strengthen the educational environment in the Garo Hills region.
