ADMISSION TO THE INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, SHILLONG, MEGHALAYA UNDER IMC QUOTA FOR SESSION 2023-24/25.
Applications are hereby invited from Permanent Resident of Meghalaya, for admission to Govt. Industrial Training Institute, Rynjah, Shillong to fill up the limited 4 seats in each trade under IMC quota during the session 2023-2024/25, under the scheme “Upgradation of 1396 Government ITIs through Public Private Partnership”, in the following Trades:- (I)Electrician (2)Wireman (3)Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (4)Fitter (5)Plumber (6)Welder (7)Stenography (English) (8)Fruits and Vegetables Processing (9)Draughtsman (Civil) (10) Carpenter (11)Digital Photographer (12)Multimedia Animation & Special Effects (13)Driver cum Mechanic (LMV) (14)Solar Technician Electrical (15)Baker & Confectioner (16)Surveyor.
1. Applicants are required to pay the Registration fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred) only and Application Forms can be collected from office at the rate of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty) only.
2. Applicants must have attained 14 years of age on 01.08.2022. There is no upper age limit for admission. 3. Qualification — Class X passed & Class VIII passed depending upon the trade as prescribed in the respective syllabus.
4. Candidates applying for engineering trades should attain pass marks in Science and Mathematics subjects.
5. Last Date for Submission of Application 25th August 2023.
6. Candidates have to appear for “Interview”, the date of which will be notified accordingly.
7. Selection will be based on marks obtained in Interview.
8. Admitted candidates are required to deposit Caution Money of Rs 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only refundable on course completion and Training fee of Rs.8000/- (Rupees Eight Thousand) only non-refundable at the time of admission and another Rs.8,000 (Rupees Eight Thousand) at the beginning of semester III in case of two years course.
9. No Stipend shall be awarded to trainees admitted under the IMC quota.
