The National Career Service Centre for SC/STs, Jowai, under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, announces the launch of free one-year stipendiary training programmes for eligible Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. The training, starting from 1st July 2025, aims to prepare candidates for clerical-grade competitive exams.
Three courses are offered: One-Year Special Coaching in Shorthand, One-Year ‘O’ Level Computer Training, and Computer Hardware Maintenance (CHM). Selected candidates will receive free study materials and a monthly stipend of Rs 1,000.
Eligibility criteria include SC/ST status, registration with an Employment Exchange, minimum qualification of Higher Secondary (+2), age between 18 and 30 years as of 1st July 2025, and an annual family income below Rs 3,00,000.
Interested candidates can apply online at www.ncs.gov.in or offline at the Centre by 15th June 2025. Only one course choice will be allotted based on eligibility and availability. Applications must include self-attested copies of educational certificates, caste and income certificates, Aadhar card, and Employment Exchange registration card. No TA/DA will be provided for written tests or document verification.
