ADVERTISEMENT FOR (1) B.Pharm (2) D. Pharm (3) B.ScMLT (4) B.Sc Radio Imaging & Cardiac Instrumentation AND (5) B.Sc Ophthalmic, AGAINST STATE QUOTA SEATS
Online Application in prescribed format for Para-Medical Studies i.e. B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Sc MLT, B.Sc Radio Imaging & Cardiac Instrumentation and B.Sc Ophthalmic against State Quota of seats in various Allied courses commencing during 2024-2025 are hereby invited with effect from 22nd June to 1st July, 2024 till 5:00 P.M For details visit website www.meghealth.qov.in
Candidates should indicate clearly the order of their preference for different courses under Allied courses. Preference not indicated against any course will be treated as not opted and preference once indicated cannot be changed. Eligibility for Allied Courses:-
- Only candidates who are indigenous inhabitants of the State and have passed 10+2 level examination from a recognized University. Board of Authority with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible to apply (Persons applying for B. Pharm & D. Pharm seat should also have Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level examination). Candidates should also secure a minimum of 40% aggregated marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
- They should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2024.
- Applicants should be medically fit.
- No application will be accepted or entertained after the last date of submission.
- The list of candidates eligible for screening will be displayed in the website above.
- The date of screening will be intimated later.
- Selection of candidates, who are medically fit and eligible, will be made purely on the basis of merit and subject to Reservation Policy of the State Government.
- The list of selected candidates eligible for undergoing the course will be displayed on the notice board of Directorate of Health Services (MI), Shillong and Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Tura, West Garo Hills and in Government website and it will also be published in the local dailies published from Shillong and Tura.
- No Individual intimation will he served to any applicant selected for nomination.
- Selected candidates are to report immediately to the Deputy Secretary / Under Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, Room No 506. Additional Secretariat Building to collect their letter of nominations for further instructions as the case may be. Selected candidates who fail to report according to the fixed date will automatically lose their right to nomination and the next eligible candidate from the waiting list will be nominated.
- Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify consideration of candidature.
- Terms and conditions for admission and all other requirements including recurring fees of the concerned Allied Institution to which the applicant is nominated will have to be abided and paid by the student concerned in time and the responsibility on this count shall rest with the candidate/student.
- Depending on the availability of vacant post, the Government does not guarantee job on completion of their studies.
