Walk-In-Interview for the 325 posts of Staff Nurses on Contractual basis

ADVERTISEMENT

The Director of Health Service (MI), Meghalaya, Shillong invites application (in Standard Form of Application) from the candidates who are domicile in the State of Meghalaya for Walk-In Interview for the 325 post of Staff Nurses on Contractual basis to be engaged in First Referral Unit and Critical Care Unit for a period of 11 months initially and to be extended based on performance and need. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.

The District-wise break-up of the post will be as below:

Essential Criteria:

1. Minimum Qualification           – B.Sc. Nursing / General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

from Recognized Institution by Indian Nursing Council. Applicant should be Registered under Meghalaya Nursing Council.

• Age                                         – 18 to 27 years as on 1.1.2024. Provided that in case of

candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and    Scheduled Castes of Meghalaya, the upper age limit shall be relaxable  by 10 (ten) years.

• Minimum Working Experience- 2 years.
• Remuneration                          – ₹ 30,000/- fixed per month.

General & Important Instruction:

1. The last date for receiving of application is on the 13^th March, 2024.
2. There is no application fee.
3. SELECTION OF THE CANDIDATES WILL BE BASED PURELY ON MERIT and the post of the District above will be filled up by the candidates belonging to the particular District as declared by them in the Application Forms.

In case where there are no eligible candidates from the particular district, then the vacant post of that district will be filled by candidates from amongst the General Merit list irrespective of their Permanent Residential Address.

• Preference weightage will be given to those candidates possessing the following important parameters:

• Total marks for Personal Interview is 30 marks.
• Final Selection for the post will be subjected to verification of all original documents during the Walk-In Interview. Any candidate who is not able to produce all original document(s) or is found providing incorrect information or making false declaration regarding his/her eligibility, he/she will be declared unsuccessful.
• A total of 1.5 times the post above will be shortlisted as eligible candidates for appearing the Walk-In Interview based on the evaluation of the weightage of marks as declared by them in the application form.
• Important documents to be submitted are:-
• Valid Registration Certificate under Meghalaya Nursing Council.
• Birth Certificate or SSLC Admit Card.
• Scheduled Tribe Certificate / Scheduled Caste Certificate.
• Experience Certificate (Minimum of 2 years)
• Voters ID Card.

INCOMPLETE APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED

• The Application Form is to be submitted in the Office of the Director of Health Services (MI), Laitumkhrah, Shillong and O/o District Medical & Health Officer, Tura during Office hours between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
• Dates and Centres for the Walk-In Interview:
• 1^st to 3^rd April, 2024 at Office of the Director of Health Services (MI), Laitumkhrah, Shillong for Shillong Centre.
• 1^st & 2^nd April, 2024 at O/o District Medical & Health Officer, Tura for Tura Centre.

The names of the candidates shortlisted for appearing the personal interview against the dates above will be intimated later in the Government website.

1. The successful candidates eligible for recruitment will have to adhere to the ToR as laid down by the O/o the undersigned.
2. The result will be displayed in the website above, local newspaper and in the Notice Board O/o the Director of Health Services (MI), Meghalaya Shillong.
