The ABVP Shillong unit commemorated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and participation at two prominent locations in the city. The celebrations took place at Balika Hindi Vidyalaya Secondary School, Keating Road, and Roop Rekha Secondary School, Polo, Shillong.
The events were graced by esteemed Yoga teachers from the Northeastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy (NEIAH): Deepak Kumar, Dhruvi Singh, and Srijanmani. They led the yoga sessions, guiding participants through various yoga asanas and techniques aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being.
The celebration at Balika Hindi Vidyalaya Secondary School saw students and local residents coming together to embrace the spirit of Yoga. Similarly, at Roop Rekha Secondary School, Polo, the event witnessed active participation from the community, reflecting the widespread acceptance and importance of Yoga in daily life.
