The Deputy Commissioner (Excise), South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat has declared ‘Dry Day’ on the whole of South West Khasi Hills District on the 2nd October, 2024 on account of Gandhi Jayanti.
All liquor shops/IMFL shops/Bars/Hotels/C.A. Bars/ C.S. Shops and out still stalls shall remain closed on the 2nd October, 2024. Violation of the order will amount to punishment as per Excise Rules and Acts.
