A Mockdrill on earthquake will be held on the 4 th October, 2024 at 11.A.M sharp at
the Additional & Main Secretariat Building. The drill will be participated by employees of the
both the Secretariat Buildings and by line departments from SDRF/ Fire & Emergency Services,
DM&HO, Police, MPRO, PWD, MeCEL, MUDA, Urban, PHED and Local Volunteers. Civil
Hospital and Woodland Hospital will also participate during the drill.
To start the drill, a siren will be given at 11. A.M to indicate an earthquake.
Employees of both the buildings will evacuate and assemble at 2(two) pre -designated assembly
areas i.e. the open space in front of All Saints Cathedral and open space in front of All Saint’s
Hall.
People are requested to allow the ambulances, fire tenders, rescue parties to
perform their duties.
