The 1st Northeast India Organic Week, 4th IFOAM World Organic Youth Summit, and APEDA Buyer-Seller Meet are being held in Shillong from 28th November to 1st December 2025.
The event will be formally inaugurated tomorrow Courtyard by Marriott, Shillong in the presence of senior dignitaries from the Government of Meghalaya, representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India, and other distinguished officials.
This four-day international engagement will bring together premium buyers, importers, global youth delegations, organic sector experts, and participants from Bhutan, China, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand and Taiwan.
The programme features high-level sessions, sectoral interactions, cultural showcases, and field visits designed to highlight the organic potential, market readiness and success stories of Northeast India.
