The Managing Director, Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC) has informed that based on the decision of the Board of Directors, the MTC will discontinue school bus operation with effect from the next academic year, i.e., from the 1st of April, 2026.
The STEMS is currently providing school bus service and the general public may consider enrolling with them as an alternative, informed the Managing Director, MTC.
