The State Council of Science, Technology, and Environment (SCSTE) are proud to announce the commencement of
the Science Exposure Trip 2025, designed to inspire and enhance the scientific curiosity of students and teachers.
The trip aims to provide participants with hands-on learning experiences and exposure to cutting-edge scientific
research and innovation across India’s leading scientific institutions.
Four batches, comprising both students and teachers, will embark on this enriching journey:
Batch 01: 6th January 2025 (36 participants)
Batch 02: 13th January 2025 (37 participants)
Batch 03: 15th January 2025 (44 participants)
Batch 04: 28th January 2025 (29 participants)
Key Highlights of the Trip
Participants will visit renowned science hubs across three cities:
Kolkata: Science City – India’s largest science center offering interactive exhibits and immersive experiences.
Chennai: Prestigious institutions and sites, including IIT, Birla Planetarium, CMFRI (Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute), and an Ice Cream Industry to explore technology applications in food
processing.
Bengaluru: Science Centre – a hub of innovation and scientific excellence.
This initiative is part of SCSTE’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and scientific temperament among the youth while empowering educators to bring experiential learning into classrooms.
