Project Scientists Mrs. Aneesah Rahman and Mr. Bonthu Solomon Raju from the
National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO),
Hyderabad, Department of Space, Govt. of India, conducted a field inspection of the completed
geo-tagged works under MGNREGA in the 5th Mile VEC of Mylliem Block, East Khasi Hills
District from the 18th to 20th November 2024. During the visit, they interacted with the job card
holders and reviewed the quality of implementation of the projects and their impact on the
community. They were assisted by officials of the State Rural Employment Society (SRES) of
the State, District and Block levels. Their report will be submitted to the Ministry of Rural
Development, Govt. of India.
