With the objective of creating public awareness especially the youth of East Jaintia Hills District on various vocational training opportunities, employment prospects in technical & non-technical trades and information on government schemes for skill development, the office of the Vice-Principal, Industrial Training Institute (ITI), East Jaintia Hills District in collaboration with the Office of the Assistant Employment Officer, District Employment Exchange, Khliehriat will organize an Awareness cum Exhibition Programme on 14th August 2025 from 11:00 AM onwards in the premises of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat (Old DC Office).
The programme will also feature display of training materials and tools from trades including Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Wireman, Driver cum Mechanic (LMV), Surface Ornamentation Techniques (Embroidery) and Cosmetology.
Members of the public, particularly the youth, are encouraged to attend the programme
and to carry along with them their Aadhaar Cards, Passport Size Photos and Passbooks for
registration purposes.
