The office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Jaintia Hills District in a press release issued has informed that food grains (Rice) under Poshan Shakti Nirman (PM-POSHAN Scheme) for Lower Primary Schools, Upper Primary Schools and Bal-Vatika for Pre-Primary level under the PM POSHAN Scheme for the months of October and November 2025 has been released and the same will be delivered free of cost to the doorsteps of the schools by the approved Government Nominees.
The scale of issue is 5.052 kgs per student for Pre-Primary Level (Bal-Vatika), 5.024 kgs per student for Lower Primary Schools and 7.722 kgs per student for Upper Primary Schools for the months of October and November 2025
