-Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to Address Beneficiaries Nationwide; ₹2,400 Crore Incentives to Be Disbursed Through DBT-
As part of a nationwide outreach initiative under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PM-VBRY), a regional programme will be organised at NEIGRIHMS, Shillong tomorrow, connecting beneficiaries, employers and stakeholders from Meghalaya with the national PM-VBRY event to be addressed by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi from Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The regional programme in Shillong will be attended by Shri Methodius Dkhar, Minister of Labour & Employment, Government of Meghalaya; Shri Saleng A. Sangma, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha); and other dignitaries, along with PM-VBRY beneficiaries, employer representatives and senior officials from the Central and State Governments.
During the national event, the Prime Minister will address PM-VBRY beneficiaries across the country and disburse incentives amounting to approximately ₹2,400 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), facilitating additional employment opportunities for more than 15 lakh persons.
