The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) which commenced on the 30th June across all the 313 polling Parts under 5 Assembly Constituencies in West Jaintia Hills District has achieved significant progress.
The Deputy Commissioner (Election), West Jaintia Hills District informed that as of 20th July, 2026, total of 2,20,478 number of Enumeration Forms (EFs) have been distributed under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll covering 99.65 per cent of the district’s electorate.
Of the total Enumeration Forms distributed, 1,10,070 forms have been digitized, representing 49.92% of the electorate. Among the Assembly Constituencies, Amlarem has recorded the highest digitization progress at 73.21 per cent, followed by Raliang 48.09 per cent, Mowkaiaw 45.08 per cent, Nartiang 43.61 per cent and Jowai 41.09 per cent.
