On 9th September 2024, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Tura Unit successfully organized the prestigious Pa Togan Sangma Best Student Award 2024 to honor the academic excellence of students from various institutions. The event was held to felicitate the toppers of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC)examinations for the year 2024.
The Chief Guest of the program was Biswajit Daimary, Honorable Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly, and the Guest of Honour was Bernard N. Marak, a member of the District Council. Adding to the significance of the occasion, Lekhi A. Sangma, the former State President of ABVP Meghalaya, was present as a special guest, alongside Tengku M. Marak, the State Secretary of ABVP.
The program saw the enthusiastic participation of over 400 students, 100 well-wishers, and more than 100 toppers from various institutions. The event provided a platform for students to be recognized for their academic dedication and excellence, with a special focus on encouraging young scholars to continue striving for success.
