The Centre for Social Audit at the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) is pleased to announce an Exposure Visit to Meghalaya, scheduled from October 21 to 25, 2024, at the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) in Nongsder, Meghalaya. This program, which is the third of its kind for the Financial Year 2024-25 organised by NIRDPR, aims to promote cross-learning and the sharing of best practices among participants from various States and Union Territories. The visit will be facilitated by the Meghalaya Society for Social Audit and Transparency (MSSAT).
Participants will have a unique opportunity to experience and learn from the successful initiatives on social audits implemented in Meghalaya. Through field visits and interactive sessions, participants will engage with local stakeholders, gaining insights into the social audits’ innovative approaches and strategies that have contributed to the State’s development.
The programme is designed to facilitate meaningful dialogue, the sharing of best practices, and collaborative learning. It aligns with NIRDPR’s mission to build capacities across states by promoting peer learning and helping participants adapt successful models to their respective regions.
This exposure visit highlights NIRDPR’s efforts to foster an inclusive learning environment where the participating states can share experiences and inspire each other toward achieving sustainable and equitable development.
