The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District in a press release issued has declared the 25th December, 2025 as “Dry Day” throughout the entire East Jaintia Hills District on account of Christmas Day.
All bonded Wholesalers, IMFL retails, Bars, Canteen and Out-stills shall remain closed in the entire area of East Jaintia Hills District on the above mentioned date.
Any violation of the order will be viewed seriously, added the Deputy Commissioner.
