The three-day State Review & Planning Meeting 2026 of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Meghalaya concluded successfully after intensive deliberations and planning sessions held from 15th to 17th May 2026. The meeting witnessed the participation of office bearers and student representatives from different units across the state, focusing on organizational strengthening and future strategies.

During the meeting, ABVP Meghalaya resolved to achieve a target of 31,000 memberships across the state in two phases as part of its mission to further strengthen the organization in Meghalaya and expand its reach among students and youth.

The first phase of the membership drive will be conducted from 20th August to 30th August 2026, while the second phase will be carried out from 10th September to 20th September 2026.

The meeting also focused on reviewing organizational activities undertaken during the past year, evaluating achievements and challenges, and preparing a strategic roadmap for upcoming programs and campaigns. Detailed discussions were held on various important aspects including student issues, organizational expansion, campus activities, leadership development, and strengthening coordination at every level.

ABVP Meghalaya reaffirmed its commitment towards student welfare, character building, and constructive student activism. The organization emphasized the importance of greater student participation in nation-building activities and educational reforms.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to intensify outreach programs, strengthen campus units, and work actively for the educational and social development of students throughout Meghalaya.
