The Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply), Amlarem Sub-Division, hereby informed to the general public that the Government of India, Department of Food and Public Distribution, has introduced a WhatsApp–based facility under the “Anna Sahayata” initiative for seeding and updating mobile numbers of eligible PMGKAY beneficiaries. All beneficiaries are requested to avail themselves of this simple and convenient service to ensure that their correct mobile numbers are linked to their ration cards. This will strengthen service delivery and facilitate timely communication regarding food security schemes. Fair Price Shop (FPS) dealers have been instructed to display the designated QR Code and assist beneficiaries in accessing the WhatsApp service during the distribution period. The Public is requested to cooperate and complete the mobile number seeding/updation process at the earliest.
