The High Powered Committee on Thursday held a review meeting on the ongoing works of the new Meghalaya Assembly building, following up on the earlier meeting held on August 18.
The meeting was chaired by Hon’ble Speaker Shri Thomas A Sangma and attended by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Conrad K Sangma, Hon’ble Deputy Speaker Shri Limison Sangma, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Prestone Tynsong & Shri Sniawbhalang Dhar, Hon’ble Dr. Mukul Sangma, Leader of Opposition , Hon’ble MLAs Shri Banteidor Lyngdoh & Shri Rupert Momin, Chief Secretary Dr. Shakil P. Ahammed, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Secretary Shri Malthus S Sangma, Dr. Andrew Simons Adviser (Legislation), Deputy Secretary Shri Raja Kharpuri, Shri Cyril V. Darlong Diengdoh Commissioner and Secretary Parliamentary Affairs Department, Dr. Vijay Kumar D Commissioner & Secretary, Finance and officers from the PWD and other state government departments.
