The Electoral Registration officer, 7- Amlarem (ST) Assembly Constituency, hereby inform you that as per the directive of the Election Commission of India, Draft Photo Electoral Roll of 7 – Amlarem Assembly Constituency with reference to 01-10-2026 as the qualifying date will be published on the 05-08-2026. This is done through the Special Intensive Revision taken through the House to House visit taken up by the BLOs w.e.f. 30-06-2026 to 29-07-2026.
Henceforth, after the publication of Draft Electoral Roll, there shall be filing of claims and objections for new enrolment of the eligible citizens who has attained/ will be attaining the age of 18 years as per the qualifying date i.e 01-10-2026 and also for correction of any mistakes that might appear in the draft. Therefore, as the head of the villages, I would like to request you kindly extend your co- operation with the office by doing the following in the interest of the public welfare.
- To make public announcement in your locality that the Citizens can meet the BLOs of your concerned polling station for verification of their names in the Electoral roll and also to filing of claims and objections if any w.e.f.05-08-2026 to 04-09-2026.
- To make public announcement in your locality that the eligible citizens who has attained/ about to attain the age of 18yrs as per the qualifying date i.e 01-10-2026 and whose name has not appear in the Electoral roll to meet the BLO and to file the claim for enrolment w.e.f 05-08-2026 to 04-09-2026.
- To assist the BLOs in verifying the accuracy of the Electoral roll details and photos of the Electors in the Draft Electoral Roll and also to bring it to the notice of the ERO through the BLO if detected any wrong and mismatch entries for correction and rectification in order to avoid any confusion and in future.
- Most of the time it has been observed that there is a misunderstanding among the electors who had filed their claims and objections that once they submitted the Forms their name will be automatically enrolled in the Electoral Roll without appearing before the ERO/AERO for hearing. Therefore, it is hereby clarified that all the applicants/claimants have to appear before the ERO/AERO for verification and confirmation of the Claims. The ERO/AERO has the power to reject the claims if the applicants do not appear for hearing as per the time and date fixed accordingly.
- You are also requested to extend your help by sparing your School/Community hall Building for such hearing programme and also in any other requirement that the BLO may require.
- The ERO & AERO has already fixed the Date, time and venue for hearing and disposal of the claims and objections (e.g. Form 6, 7 & 8). The information on this can be obtained from the BLO concerned.
- As per the directive of the Election Commission of India, you are requested to make public announcement in your locality so that the Electors can make thorough verification of the Draft Photo Electoral Roll, so that no mistakes are left in the Electoral roll.
Co-operation from the village authority with the Office will help in obtaining the accurate and error free Electoral Roll.
