The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District has informed that the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has started the admission process for Class VI at JNV Mawsynram and JNV Mawphlang, for the academic session 2027-2028 through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test – 2027.
Students who are currently studying in Class V during the academic session 2026-27 in a recognised school and who have completed Classes III, IV and V are eligible to apply.
Applicants must be bona fide residents of East Khasi Hills District and should have been born between 1st May, 2015 and 31st July, 2017 (both dates inclusive).
Eligible candidates may submit their applications online through the official website at https://navodaya.gov.in
The last date for submission of online applications is 31st July, 2026, while the entrance examination is scheduled to be held on 28th November, 2026.
