The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has informed that rice under NFSA (AAY and PHH), Non-NFSA and Wholemeal Atta for the month of April 2026 is being released through the respective Fair Price Shops.

Under NFSA, AAY quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 35 kgs per card and PHH quota at the scale of 5 kgs per head free of cost. Non-NFSA rice will be distributed at the scale of 7.105 kgs per card at the rate of Rs. 12.70/- to Rs. 13/- per kg.

Wholemeal atta will be distributed at the scale of 5 kgs per card in urban areas and 3 kgs per card in rural areas at the rate of Rs. 10.50/- per kg.

All Fair Price Shops are directed to distribute the quota as soon as the food grains arrive and to display the list of beneficiaries and the timing of operation in their respective shops. All NFSA beneficiaries are requested to collect their allotted quota on or before the 30th of April, 2026 and also to complete their e-KYC for smooth distribution through e-POS device.  

Any non-supply, supply at less prescribed scale, overcharging or supply with inferior quality may be reported to the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.
