The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District in a press release issued has informed the public of East Jaintia Hills District that proposals are invited from Non-Governmental Organizations(NGOs), Clubs and Self Help Group(s) of East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat for availing of financial Assistance under the Chief Minister’s Youth Development Scheme (CMYDS).
The programmes and activities for financial assistance under the Scheme include youth programmes, adventure programme, awareness programmes concerning youths, cleaning drives which coincide with Gandhiji’s Birthday, workshops, seminars on youth problems and youth development, youth counselling programmes etc.
Financial Assistance to be sanctioned under this Scheme will depend on the merit of the application/ proposal. The proposals received from the NGOs, SHGs, Clubs shall be scrutinized by the District Level Screening Committee and the decision of the Committee will be final.
Interested Organizations, Clubs, SHGs, Youth Group etc are to submit their proposals in plain paper along with the details of the programme, activities, objectives, registration certificate and budget estimates etc to the office of the District Planning Office on or before 18th of September 2026.
No proposal will be entertained after the fixed dated mentioned above, added the Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District.
