Meghalaya Government Denotifies Rongdangai Police Outpost in South West Khasi Hills
The Government of Meghalaya has denotified the setting up of the Rongdangai Police Outpost in South West Khasi Hills District with immediate effect.
In supersession of the earlier Notification No. HPL.242/2025/14 dated 27 November 2025, the Governor of Meghalaya has ordered the denotification of the proposed police outpost vide Notification No. HPL.172/2024/42 issued by the Home (Police) Department.
The order has been issued under the authority of the Hon’ble Governor and signed by Shri F.R. Kharkongor, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Home (Police) Department.
This decision takes effect immediately.
