The Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS), in collaboration with the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training (DECT) and various participating employers, is organising a State-wide Recruitment Drive to connect young job seekers with employment opportunities in India and abroad.
As part of the State-wide initiative, the Recruitment Drive will also be held in East Jaintia Hills District, giving eligible youth an opportunity to meet participating employers, take part in recruitment and screening processes and explore different career options. The drive will offer opportunities for over 10,000 jobs across India and internationally.
Besides regular employment, the Recruitment Drive will also provide opportunities for apprenticeships and internships. These opportunities are aimed at helping young people gain practical experience, develop skills required by different industries and build better prospects for their future careers.
The initiative is expected to benefit youth who are looking for employment opportunities but may not have easy access to employers from outside the state. Through the recruitment drive, candidates will be able to directly explore available opportunities and understand the requirements of different employers.
The Recruitment Drive in East Jaintia Hills District will be held on 18th August 2026 (Tuesday) at ITI Khliehriat Campus, 19th August 2026 (Wednesday) at Latyrke Community Hall and 21st August 2026 (Friday) at Lumshnong Community Hall, covering all three Blocks of East Jaintia Hills District.
Eligible youth across the district are encouraged to take advantage of the Recruitment Drive and participate in the recruitment and screening process.
